I’m a second-year Ph.D student in ethnomusicology at Brown University. My current research interests include black music from across the African Diaspora, commerce, queerness, and virtual communities. I aim to study how black musicians and their audiences incorporate technology into aesthetic practice, social interaction, and embodied experience.
